These images represent some of Charlies oldest negatives, a early landmark in his desire to capture his community as they lived their lives in Notting Hill. The logic behind the photographs was to record what he had imagined would be a 5 year jaunt in England and once he’d return back to Jamaica he’d have pictures to show his life in London.
